Chromaglow is a great overhaul distortion tool for logic honestly. Like you said, it just has everything in one! I like to just go through some of the presets and play with the mix, sometimes using it parallel when driving very hard!

Great pointers on using these tools. I’ve taken it a step further and dumped a track to midi and then selected other instruments.
Mind you, this will give you a great respect for the articulation collection available.

Great video. I am a drummer as well and I am blown away by the grace notes and how you can change your main cymbal. This will be great for switching between verses, choruses and bridges.

Thank you so much for going through this. This has pretty much convinced me to buy Logic for the new drummer controls. No more “good enough”. I can now dial in exactly what I want. Looking forward to the videos diving deeper on the new Logic drummer.

I think the chord bar is awesome. 😎 I’ve been writing charts my whole life, so no big. There is also a feature where you can specify the exact chords you want in the players region data itself, using the Editor. The players don’t have to be using strictly identical chord progressions. It’s a fantastic tool for composition because you can try different harmonic structures quickly and accurately as fast as you can think of them. There’s also suggested chord progressions if you’re interested in the input as well. The bass note feature is perfect for creating bass line patterns. I have been able to get everything I want out of the keys and bass. I can’t say enough good things

Thanks for this Colin! Do you plan to use any of these session players with Broke Royals?

I started off on C-Lab back in the day. C-Lab which eventually became E Magic, which eventually became Logic.
Logic 11 has convinced me to take a last blast.

Your videos are amazing. Just a noob question. Since most people listen to music on mobile phones which have mostly mono speakers, how to get our mix right for phones?

Another great video. Personally I love / hate what they've done to Drummer. I love the new manual patterns and the ability to pick side stick in a region (though it's too loud compared to center hits), but I hate what I'm hoping is a temporary or personal glitch: splitting regions that have fills will occasionally throw the drum timing off (like way off). The timing gets thrown off both on the fill before the split and the drums that begin right after the split. I have a ticket opened with Apple (not holding my breath), but hoping a future update fixes it. Have you (or anyone else) experienced the same issue creating fills in Logic 11?

The chords are admittedly a chore but after a while trying cutting and pasting sections of chord track or session player regions it doesn’t seem too much of a hassle. And I love the upright bass settings with slap and growl in particular

Hi, can you create a video on how to create drum tracks using midi 😊🙏

I'm still hesitating about making the move from Garageband to Logic pro. This actually gives me more reason to do so. I didn't know that Logic had that Session player function. I'm sad that they removed the different drummers from the drum program.

excellent video, however it would have been helpful to make clearer how to implement them for us beginners : )

Ok those session players are cool. And might be the straw that makes me jump up from garage band.

Chromaglow sounds great, but just because they say it’s AI doesn’t means it’s better than others. I compared it against Ableton Live’s Roar plugin, and it doesn’t sound as good in almost all applications.

I like your channel...I have a question...How can I use the bass session player with a Neural DSP Parallax sound?
