CBSE Class 10 Science Chapter 6 - Life Process - Respiratory System in Plants -
Aerobic Respiration - Respiration which involves oxygen. Carbon dioxide and oxygen are exchanged in plants through diffusion.
The plant have two different conditions at night and day.
At night no photosynthesis process takes place, only respiration happens and carbon dioxide is eliminated
During day time both photosynthesis and respiration occurs and carbon dioxide released by respiration process is consumed by photosynthesis process so there is no release of CO2 and oxygen is released as the by product.
