We just got one and we are hearing the same high pitched noise coming from it... is that normal? On ours its too loud... definitely would be intrusive at night. How has you experience been with it?

Good startup sound, those inverter motors in the compressors have quite a sound to them

Do these these connect to the wall? To a normal wall plug? I never seen 14k btu. Most are always 12kbtu. Does it cool well? I'm looking to buy one and seems quiet enough as well
