Can A $300 IV Drip Therapy Cure A Common Cold?

IV Drip hydration is commonly used and well known for curing hangovers. If it can help a hangover, can it help a common cold? I put it to the test as I desperately wanted my sickness to go away.
THIS VIDEO IS NOT SPONSORED. I paid for the IV drip with my own money, all opinions are my own.

MY FINAL THOUGHTS -
It definitely DID help my cold. I instantly felt the effects of the IV hydration as my nose cleared up and my sneezing/itchy throat went away. The effects lasted through out the rest of the day and onto the next, and I was completely over the cold within the next 24 hours. This could be a good option for you if your feeling under the weather and need to travel/work on things without being slowed down. Would you spend the $300 on this?

Comes to LA for a week, pays $300 for an IV

I'm not mad at Monica or anybody who gets this, but I'm mad at like...society for the fact that there are people literally dying because they don't have access to medical treatment, but rich people can get a nurse to come to their door and give them an IV every time they have a hangover.

Yes! I would pay $300 for it. I had the flu and bronchitis during the holidays, and I'm still having a lot of congestion. I'm trying to find somewhere here in Colorado Springs that does Drip Therapy. I'd never heard of it before, but it sounds fantastic. Thanks for sharing this with us.

I didn't realize they actually come to your house and do it! I thought you would go to a center of some sorts to get it done. Interesting.

Only the vein people in LA would think of such a thing.

i would pay this much for a cold but i would for a stomach bug. stomach bugs are the literal worst so getting hydrated and that prescription anti nausea medicine seems amazing

My best friend works at a health clinic that specializes in IV's, weight loss and hormone regulations. Totally works and is a miracle.

And this is why I love your channel! I would never pay for this but I was always curious if it worked!

I had food poisoning a year ago and had a iv drip because I was so dehydrated and I really felt like a million bucks afterwards. My insurance paid for most of it so I know firsthand this really does work.

Hi monica! I have been dealing with chronic fatigue for some time after having mono and get ivs often to keep my levels up (all the vitamin Bs and more) and it does help me! Glad to see this becoming more of a thing since it is alot more of a thing in Colorado :)

But like does the nurse stay there while it’s infusing? Because I’m way too awkward to sit and chat..

I have to get IV meds for my immune system every other week and they give Benadryl through the IV as a pre-med so I don't have an allergic reaction. The SECOND the put the benadryl in that line my nasal passages open up even if I wasn't sick and I fall straight to sleep and wake up feeling like a brand new person.

I probably wouldn’t do that due to my intense fear of needles, but I’m glad that it worked for you!! I got something similar when I had a really bad stomach flu & I was dehydrated, and getting IV helped a ton (it was at the ER but it was good haha) Love you & your vids a lot :)

Also just FYI there are places that do it for less than $300! I was visiting LA recently and got really sick so I decided to try it and I think I paid around $170. Still an obscene amount to spend regularly of course, but as a last resort type of thing when you're feeling horrible and need to feel better quickly, it can be REALLY helpful.

It’s 70 bucks here in GA. 🤷🏾‍♀️ that’s crazy how expensive Cali is but yes I’m a flight attendant I travel a lot and I need to get better quick. Doing it today.
