It's been a couple years and at the time they didn't sell cases, but since the popularity of these hori controllers skyrocketed, they now have cases that fit your switch with these hori pads fine.

Tomtoc makes a nice one, but there's many others as well.

I'm tempted to pick these up, I use my Switch almost exclusively in handheld and now both joycons have the dreaded drift, and randomly disconnect too. Other than the missing vibration, I think these might be ideal!

Awesome review mate, I had the same issues with the standard joy cons you mentioned in your video. Since the release of the switch I have tried out a variety of grips (skull & co, satisfye, mumba blade, go play) but nothing could quiet fix my problems with hand cramps. Although the ergonomics were better when using a satisfye grip, playing games like doom or astral chain was difficult because of the small analog sticks and buttons, it wasn't really fun, each time you play faster action games you get a feeling of potentially damaging the joy cons when trying to perform fast combos.

This was totally fixed with the split pad pros, it is fantastic to use these controllers, you can play any game in handheld mode without the feeling of missing out (never really been a fan of motion controls but I see that the absence of it could be a deal breaker for some). Also the dpad is really good, playing cuphead or hollow knight in handheld mode is as good as playing docked.

Get the dobe tns. Way better than these. Featuring a pro controller feel, less wider, rumbling, and even gyro still intact. And cheaper.
