In our busy lives, it may be easy to ignore the question: how to ACTUALLY reduce stress? Stress relief comes in all forms, but identifying the tiny constant stressors and finding tools and building systems to eliminate them is key to a happy and productive life.

My overarching goal with the things I buy is that they either eliminate decisions and stress, help me earn more money, or, ideally, both. The Orbitkey Nest has been an unexpected game-changer in my life, especially in the context of work because it enables me to always know where all of the small work-related EDC items are at all times, while simultaneously, being a beautiful piece that feels at home on my bedside table, desk, at client offices, and easily slides in any of my bags.

This does NOT mean that it's the right thing for YOU, but I welcome you to really think about the consistent and constant tiny stressors in your daily life and come up with systems and find tools that help eliminate them.

EDC accessories, or rather, everyday carry items in general are often a great place to start thinking about the tools and systems that can help your life run more smoothly.

TINY stressors are the WORST if we encounter them daily because they just form an underpinning sense of anxiety and unhappiness. Fix the CONSTANT small stuff and you can focus on what really matters without annoying distractions.

Maurice, I don’t know how much time you put into these videos but damn, I love them. They way you are able to articulate your thoughts into a very short video always amazes me! Great job!!!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Not really related, but that's also why I've spent a relatively large sum of money on socks that I like. One might say that socks are also available cheaply and where's the difference, but the cheap socks aren't durable and the seams annoyed me to no end every day. Spending the money on better socks has taken those paper cuts out of my life and lowered the baseline amount of stress I'm in.

Thanks for your review :). That said, I can’t recommend enough going to AMAZON and READING actual customer reviews that may have had less glowing experiences with products that you tube reviewers promote. Exceptional review videos, such as this, are so enthusiastic, and PERSUASIVE, that your own experience with the product may result in disappointment. So, to avoid this, take the time to read as many reviews as possible. They create a wonderful composite profile of the pros and cons of the device. For myself, I try to read not one-star reviews, because they can be so biased/emotionally negative, that they are not actually helpful. Instead, I read, of course, five-star, but also 3-star, and two-star reviews. Thanks again for being such a quality reviewer of products (I subscribed).

I have a Nest and I don't use it daily anymore. I just leave it on my desk at work to have a wireless charger there. I use an Aer Split Pack now to keep a few things on me at all times. Great advice at the end!

I just got one of these. I agree it’s simple but the simple ideas are often the best.

I kinda don't see the value here. haha. I mean I think it's useful if it was stationary. But by god, I would not carry that thing around. Also everyone has a spot. Or I do think they do. Everything should go in its place when you're done working. And a tip I learned for efficiency is...when you for some reason lose something, that first place that you looked is where you should put the item - and you will never lose things again.

What is the point of plugging in a box that you repeatedly open, so that it can wirelessly charge, instead of plugging in what needs charging?

my small hack is having vital things attached by lanyards to my purse - keys, phone, eyeglass case, wallet, passport pouch, mask. And my purse is washable (not leather) so I don't have to worry about something happening to it.

I do have the orbitkey nest and it’s a beautiful organizer but not worth the premium price of 110 dollars

Thanks for your videos. Organization is a great way to redice stress.

My backup pen is a Kaweco Sport Gel Pen. If you prefer ballpoint ink instead of gel, it’s able able to use the Parker pen refills and Fisher Space Pen Refills. Capped, it’s a similar length to your Kaweco Ball Point Pen. It can be posted to a longer 5.2”

I’d love this more if it had a couple of charge ports on it. So like a USB-C in with maybe 2 USB-C out on one side so it could be treated as a sort of pass-through device allowing me to charge my computer or tablet with a cable, and my phone with wireless.

Hi. I just love coming back to your videos. They just work. Question: You carry fountain pens everywhere—I love that. How do you keep the ink from spilling during flights? Do you have tips for that? thank you.
