Keeping UPSC aside, you said that "out of 2.5 candidates appearing for IIT entrace exams .5% clears the exam", after which there is a 99% assurance that they became engineers and are getting placed, my point is that all the three levels of CA exams are like IIT entrance exams. Even after clearing CA Foundation nobody can give you 1% assurance that you will became a CA or not. But the thing is even you ask a 10th grade about their studies they would say that 10th syllabus is the tougest of all. For every aspirant their courses are the most toughest.
CA bro, I feel this comparison as baseless.

Isn't it insane to compare the entire CA and UPSC courses with just the entrance exams of JEE to get into IIT? And what's the point of this comparison? Everything ranging from exam patterns, course structures (like presence of articleship in CA), lines of specialisations themselves are sooo different including the professions.

I think one of the biggest reasons that make jee adv the 2nd toughest exam of the world is that the aspirants are the age of 15-16yrs in a world full of distractions and possesions still he have to bear discipline in 2yrs which is the major factor of making it tough

CA course is professional knowledge, upse is GK, jee is pure IQ & Maths (i am guessing) so no point is comparing.

If there are 100 students giving ca finals 100 of them can become CA's because its not a competitive exam its just tough exam

While others are competitive

10 to 15% from around 2 lakh
And below 1% from above million

Overall passing percentage in CA is less than 0.25 %

Foundation passing percentage = 25 %
Intermediate passing percentage = 10%
Final passing percentage = 10 %

25% × 10% × 10% = 0.25 %

If we talk about UPSC
1% pass prelim
25% pass mains
40% pass interview

Overall result = 1% × 25% × 40 % = 0.1 %

So don't compare UPSC Overall result with only with CA Final level results.

Disclaimer:The only people arguing here are those who haven’t cleared IIT JEE, CA, or UPSC. It’s like watching JEE aspirants defend JEE, CA folks stand up for CA, and UPSC hopefuls cheer for UPSC—all while none of them have actually cleared any of these exams.

I think we can not compare these with percentage basis as there is large diffrence in aspirents enrolments in iit and upse vs CA . We need an equivalent basis to compare them
