Personally, I think he might’ve added it to a collection of sorts. Palpatine was confirmed to have given him many artifacts in a collection so maybe he put the light sabers in there

Vader does actually have his lightsaber hilt hooked onto his belt on the left side of it, if you look closely at his belt. It might have kept it, who knows. 🤔

❤The Real Love Story. One must remember that Ahsoka and Anakin Spent a lotta time together. The real reason She left the order was because She was Pregnant with Luke Skywalker. So She left while also cloaking her energy of Conceived Jedi. She knew that her and Padme would only engage in some ghetto ass baby mama drama; so after giving birth to Luke, She secretly placed luke in the same incubation chamber of leia. Padme was always some what drunk or lit on daily intellectual social drugs of this technological world. So naturally thought nothing of twins being born. She was Politician and secretly had ideas creating a family of Politicians. This became a win win situation until the first order caused the mechanized resistance of discontinuing the other worlds.

I think he kept it because we know Vader still has connections to friends and family if you play Vader immortal you know he tried to revive padme also in Asoka anikin guides Asoka tano and helps her regain strength proving he still has a human connection

Second theory can’t work because all those sabers were burned literally after the events of Episode 3, and the stormtrooper program hadn’t even started yet

I'm guessing he might've took it, not as a great reminder of his Jedi times nor for Ahsoka, but for his hatred of those Jedi times, of his old self, that way he can grow his power.
