What I wish I knew as a Michigan State University Freshman

SUMMARY OF TIPS THAT WERE IN THE VIDEO:
1. Google maps will be your savior when learning the bus system.
2. It's pretty hard to gain the Freshman 15 at MSU.
3. Combo at 1855 Place! The have yummy meals that Spartys stores don't have!
4. Explore all that MSU has to offer.
5. If you believe you should have received a better grade, email your professor and let them know!
6. Go to internship fairs as a Freshman.

I went to Michigan State for 11 years. I got my Master degree in Math. Her best tip is to talk to your professors if you don’t get the grade you like/need. It’s important. Do it. It can make the difference between graduating and not graduation. Especially in graduate school where the minimum GPA is a 3.0 and you can only get 2.5 twice before they kick you out.

Congrats on being a Spartan! MSU is a amazing college!!!! I just attended my MSU orientation yesterday! I am a 26 year old undergrad transfer student. So I am a older undergrad student lol 😂! I transferred from a uptight private university; so I hope I can finally have some fun and enjoy college now lol! Btw, I wish you luck with your studies!!!! Go

This video was really helpful. I'm just starting out my freshman year here. Although many things I've been able to figure out on my own one thing still you're still overwhelmed with me. The dining hall's! I'm not sure exactly how that work.. Do you just stand in line swin and line swipe your student ID and then what?

Also, once signed up for a class at Hubbard then ended up dropping it because I realized I couldn't make it there in time from Case Hall. Google would've been good for that too.
