The DP education was born out of the passion of Mr. Dhammika Perera to provide an innovative online math learning platform for school students to enhance their math skills. School students can access the government math curriculum from grades 6-13 at their own convenience for free.

CHAPTER DESCRIPTION (in this video)

This video is a lesson on Perimeter - Grade 8.
By studying this lesson you will be able to
• calculate the perimeters of composite rectilinear plane figures composed of two similar or different types of plane figures from equilateral triangles, isosceles triangles, squares and rectangles, and
• solve problems involving the perimeters of composite rectilinear plane figures.

Maths can not be learnt if you leave in between the class. So, we have provided break in between our online class at regular intervals.

Tr also we can take a perimeter of the rectangle by adding those for sides right?

There's a small mistake ( @1:23:50 ) mam, the question is about needed bricks around the flower bed, so we have to add 4 bricks extra (28+28+12+12+4)=84 bricks
