Your garden is beautiful! The unnamed ornamental allium looks like chives to me. My chives are blooming right now.

Thanks for sharing! Plants we got so far in part influenced by your videos: Blue Star Kalimeris, Amsonia Storm Cloud, Mt. Airy Fothergilla, Dappled Willow (grafted), Little Lime Punch Hydrangea, Globemaster Allium (ordered placed for fall planting), Pinky Winky Hydrangea, Rozanne Geranium and others. We almost got a Sea Green Juniper but instead we got a Montana Moss Juniper as it was a better fit for its location. By the way the Dwarf Hinoki Cypress looks awesome like a bonsai tree.

Laura, I started with one of these in my garden about five years ago. By dividing, I now have a border of about fifteen, blooming their little heads off. It is one of the most beautiful plants in my garden. It's big bloom is in the spring then sporadically all summer. I've given so many away to friends, and it's a big hit with whoever sees it. I hope you have as wonderful luck with it as I have! Deb

Hey Laura! I watched your video a few days ago and just now adding my comment. WOW!!! All of your plants look spectacular, the colors so vidid including the evergreens. I plan to rewatch to pick some perennials that I need for my garden. Truly while I was watching I realized that I must start investing in perennials, which I don't do nearly enough. Thank you for the wonderful tour. XO Doleen

I have Petite Jenny in my garden and it is one of the best perennials I have. It flowers for so long and I think it reblooms in fall.

Hellebores - cut off last year’s leaves in spring once the new flowers are showing. Some varieties may have more blooms a little later. However, the new leaves that come up in mid to late spring - leave them on! This gives you lush greenery all summer. They are the leaves you will cut back next spring.

I’m willing to bet that little lime punch is going to bloom this year.

So interesting to see what ur alliums r doing in zone 7 vs here in zone 8a! My alliums here have already bloomed and gone to seed, but we’re also already having temps in the upper 80’s-lower 90’s. I have one bloom left on one of my allium giganteum which is stunning, but it’s on its way out. I won’t deadhead it until it’s had time to go to seed bc I’m hoping it will reseed itself for next year. I left all my other ones up for weeks and let them go to seed for that same reason. They were so pretty behind my roses in my front flower beds that I had ppl stopping in their cars or when they walked by to ask me what they were if I was outside. This was my first year planting them in my garden so I only planted 15 but next yr I will def be planting more to go along with the ones that hopefully reseeded themselves. Tyfs ur gardens, Laura! Always love seeing them and u! 😍

I am so excited to find your channel. I am in New Jersey, too! Yeah! Central NJ- Zone 6b :) I am learning about native plants. Are most of your plants native? Thanks, Mary

I have allium and the leaves look like they have been frost bitten! Didn’t realize this is normal. Sad they have to look like that when expecting a beautiful bloom😕

Hu Laura, I bought Lychnis Petite Jenny after seeing it in this video last year. I'm not sure what to do with them now that it's spring. The leaves are tatty and multi-colored. Do I whack them to the ground? Thanks.

Sorry - I got so carried away when I saw you had the petite jenny that I forgot to tell you that's the plant I was talking about in my last comment. By the way, I also forgot to tell you that it also goes by the name of silene petitie jenny.
