I recently attempted the CA Final May 2024 examinations but unfortunately, I was unsuccessful in clearing them. Subsequently, I proceeded to fill out the examination form for the CA Final November 2024 examinations. Upon completion of the form, I noticed that it had been automatically designated as a Provisional form. Furthermore, during the final submission process, I encountered a declaration stating that I am required to complete my SPOM test by October 10, 2024. This has led to some confusion on my part regarding the exact timeline for completing the SPOM test, whether it should be prior to October 10 or before my membership. I kindly request clarification on this matter.

I cleared 2nd group in old syllabus and gave exam of 1st group in may 2024. Do I need to clear SPOM Set A before exams?
There is lot of confusion, all students are saying in examination form there is a declaration that before appearing in exams you need to clear SPOM Set A and one faculty is saying that ICAI in their recent mail response to a student said that it mandatory.

Then given examption from set A and Set B before applying membership and apply for Nov 2024 exam without giving exam of Set A and Set B.
