Love this, only thing I’d change is the flower’s appearance.

This one looks like quite a generic blossom, but pea plants and other legumes typically have flowers that look similar to decorative legumes like sweet peas or wisteria.

The fact that the peashooter has a human-shaped brain is more uncanny the more I think about it. In the game, Plants are just defensive units that, on the surface, have no sentience or higher thought process. They're just plants. But if you read their entries, they do. They have personalities, and they can speak to some degree. They're just as complex as human beings, it's never shown in the first game (except the ending where the sunflower sings and GW).

This means that when a zombie eats your plants, it's more than just a unit being lost, or a head of cabbage being eaten. Given that plants have basic sensory systems towards pain, and even give off specific frequencies when experiencing harm, these plants can feel *everything.* There are clearly roots or sensory structures that mimic the function of nerves that interact with the brain's tissues, suggesting that these plants have complex nervous systems. Meaning they can register pain.
