finally more tips for us w sweaty faces 😭 best tip i ever got for that was from you! drench your face in a mattifying setting spray ( the ones w silica specifically that act like powders!!) before your makeup!!! my makeup did not BUDGE!!! tysm robert 😭 i tried it with the nyx one you recommended but also the elf setting spray worked so good for it!! specifically their blue light one, it has more of a matte finish!

I’ve also heard that if u use an eye primer, followed by powder and then setting spray over the bridge of ur nose, it stops the makeup from transferring onto sunglasses. I have tried it and it did work 😊

I totally agree about creams in summer, why do all the dewy cream or balm products come out in summer when it’s the worst for longevity!! Has never made sense to me haha

I suffer from hypohydrosis. I means excessive sweating from any place on your body. Unfortunately mine affects my scalp. Being a woman who has sweat literally soak my hair and run down my face. It's horrible. I will try some of these tips. I love you Robert ❤️

Given how summer might as well last most of the year where I'm from I usually hate putting too much products on my face. On top of that I'm also particularly prone to sweating even when the heat is more bearable so I have to say thank you so so much for all these tips!! I hardly ever put on any foundation because I always thought it would just be ruined whenever I start sweating. Now I will start pressing on my foundation with the brush instead of my usual application with a blender.

I live in the deep south of the US.... and I find myself reaching for powder cheek products over my cream ones too. Then apply a good setting spray, and I can wear a mask without losing coverage!🖤

I would REALLY like for Robert to talk about the density of the brushes used for what. Like I don’t have every brand and every brush in it, so I think it would be incredibly helpful to say “this is a dense brush” or “this is a longer haired softer brush”.

A tip from me is I would just use foundation/concealer in the middle of my face not so much around because that is where the sweat is(from skin and hair). It gives you a feeling of coverage and not actually interfere. :)

This is amazing! I’m always looking for exactly these sorts of tips, I feel like it doesn’t get talked about much. I’m from Australia which as you know can get very hot and because of medication I’m currently on, I get hot and sweaty really easily. So hot weather here really interferes with my makeup

I have really dry skin, even in the humid summers. I love the ceramide oil sunscreen from Supergoop! It’s amazing, and if I forget to put it on, my makeup doesn’t look as good. It’s light, yet hydrating, and it protects my skin from the sun. It is a really nice sunscreen. It’s pricey, but I feel that it’s worth it.
