This was my favorite no Roger episode. It was interesting to see the Smiths, devoid of memory, trying to restore their idea of civilization from just a commercial. And the lesson at the end was heartwarming, and the revelation that this was all a big commercial for Gold Top Nuts was hilarious.

I love episodes like this. The crazier the better with this show. Fighting a war with Santa, seeing a bleak future after 300 episodes of buildup around a golden turd, the Groundhog Day parody with Stan and the time loop. This show is just getting better and better.

this was so sureal. Really well written for a show of this type. Because this is probably closer to what a total memory loss would be. In every show its just like who am i, woah, who are you?! But here, it was complete blank slate. Slight recognition of objects and buildings and shapes, but no knowledge of what any of it means or what it connects to. Just as an infant learns from what it is taught, the adult sized infants learned from any kind of information that was available to them. Which wasnt much, other than an old commercial. But they adapted the little bit of content of that old commercial and made a whole hierarchy system around it, just like a human would when learning something from scratch. Its really well written display of what real mindwipe would look like
