I put the bucket into the tractor bucket and drove backwards today. That worked well, too!

I built an attachment that slips in my trailer hitch and I just take the bucket set it down on there and it hooks it in and I tow all over the place. works with my side by side too

I put the cutting edge of the bucket behind the ball of the receiver on my 4 wheeler and left the trencher up and it moves it just fine.

I wonder if some kind of hitch arrangement that clamps to the bucket might work. Clamp the device to the bucket, then use the machine to lay that down on the ball, and tow it away.

I bought the nortrac backhoe in late October, being winter was on its way .I wasn't going to assemble till this coming spring. I'm 72 like a kid i could resist not assembly it. Using my big tractor stap it lift out crate no problem .The took my bx 1800 kubota strap the arm swung it around went ito place like a puzzle. I really enjoy your vidio you talk and act like my son in law.give me number chuckles. A bit advice use tie wraps, to hold hoses in plcace.start from bottom give enough slack strap to were hoses connect to cylinder.follow along strap to another tie wrap to hos on cylinder give slack follow along top off bomb bend anstrp to hydraulic hose on use for bucket. If I knew how I wold send you a pic of how I ran my hoses to look good and prevent damaged to hoses. Its winter here up state ny. Looking forward to using mind. Hope to find more video of you site, of use of the nortrac. I like the design of the boom and some other features. Which sold me. Strap your hoses make a old man, feel happier bless to all.

Wouldnt it be easier to put a hitch that goes onto a trailer on the back side of the bucket and hook onto your trailer ball????

If they only made something you could put in the hitch to do this. I think I'd call it a bed extender. :)

Just addshot chain loop on ball hitch. Put bucket clete thru chain and lift up front and pull like trailer.

the nor-trac unit is a much better unit than the Harbor Freight unit but the HF machine has taller more streetable wheels and tires on it if you want to tow this any distance I'd opt for swapping out those little wheels for something bigger, probably cheaper in the long run than what it's gonna cost to fix your truck, tailgates ain't cheap !!!

Here's a trick make a bucket dolly that way you can maneuver it to where you need it without actually converting into transport mode with a ball hitch or pin hitch.
