From now on every project you're going to ask is there anyway I can use the backhoe to do it? lol

I definitely don't need one of these. Definitely getting one soon.

At least you remembered to wear your steel toe flip flops. Safety first !

For when you get going - try to keep the bottom plate of the bucket parallel to the grade you want to dig. I.e. don't use the bucket tilt to dig - use the boom and adjust tilt to get the grade you want. Goes so much faster. Also dig down by slicing several times when trenching instead of going to full depth at once.

And if the dirt is wet - never fill the bucket all the way. The dirt stays put due to suction and you will have a quite hard time. Please ask me how often I have done that before I learnt :-)

taking a gas backhoe out to plant a little 3 gallon pot... kinda overkill but im here for it

down with the haters in the comment section. I love that little dude. it is healthy to have grown up toys, and that is more than a toy. but is fun to play with. I bet it makes one feel macho. there is no crime in feeling macho.

If you are lifting the rear wheels off the ground when trying to pull a tree root... back off because it CAN rip the bucket in half or cause other damage.
It has the power... not the fluid flow rate for doing 2 things at once. Some people ugrade from the appx 1.6 cc pump to a 4.1 cc pump (fits with minor modification to the coupler and 2 pipe adapters)

DO NOT increase the pressure setting of the relief valve as some videos tell people to do. It can already bend the cylinders at the factory setting. Increasing pressure will not speed it up.

This is fun. I’m betting more work can be done, faster, with more practice.
Helpful for folks who want to save their back for some projects.

Thank you for the video! I am very close to buying one for my 7 acre mini farm.

Great, now I want one, lol. Endless possibilities for that little backhoe.

I'd love to see someone bolt/weld this to an old beater flatbed like a single cab F150 or something.

This looks so satisfying. I want to get rid of bushes in my front yard and dig up the surrounding soil. This looks like it would work just find. Not sure about the roots from the bushes…if that would be a problem.

I busted off laughing at how you moved it.

Mine has almost killed me a couple of times as it is unstalbe on mild hills. Took off rolling down the hills both times. I suppose it should be left attached to the moving vehicle.

I’m seriously considering one of these. I wonder how it would do in Oklahoma red clay. Has anyone used one of these in sticky hard clay?

Hello, could you please provide information about the dimensions of the 3 hydraulic pistons you use? Thank you.

Hi. I am looking at buying one of these. I know you can't tow it on the road, but after assembled, can it fit in the bed of a pickup truck?

Does anyone know if they make a thumb for this be it mechanical or hydraulic.
The other question I have is how much will the boom lift when keeping it close in other words could you lift up 8 ft long logs to hold it up so you can cut them with a chainsaw off the ground. I'm guessing it would need to be hooked to a truck as a counterweight

Very cool. I was just wondering how these gizmos move around. Just gotta pull yourself everywhere. What can you do about inclines? Does it try to roll away?

What type of hydraulic fluid did you use? The instructions only say to use a "good quality hydraulic fluid" but don't specify what type to use? Thank you in advance....
