Ohh I Understand now!. I have been driving for 20 years in my country but we have few left turns so I was not very acostumed to that. Also, stopping in the intersection is a huge Dont in my country so I had to get used to that too.

If you hear someone honk at you during the test that’s not an automatic fail, (In most cases yes) but not all, I was at a left hand protected turn/ (Yield on green) turn on my drive test and I was waiting for oncoming traffic to proceed after the light turned green and some dickhead in a BMW right behind me was honking at me the whole time I had to let traffic proceed, thankfully I still passed, I asked the instructor about it after my test and she said that it wasn’t in fact my fault.

Question: at 3:09, why is there another light below the green light?

If it's a left arrow, why isn't it illuminated if turning left is OK to do?

For context, I'm from the UK but we'll be driving in Toronto for a few days.

I am pretty decent as a beginner driver and learner but 4:12 almost got me into an accident and it's scary how some road rules can shift due to circumstance. because in left turns I take the right lane but in this situation I had to take the left and I didn't understand how was I supposed to know and when does it apply?
