Oh, yeah.

This should be required viewing for every sound-effects person in Hollywood. A rotary does NOT go rat-a-tat-tat-tat.

The communication between the bird and her pilot is curcial. Viper even helped him out with where the camera should look while he is pulling the trigger. Brilliant.

whoa you can feel the power of the cannon even through the video, can you imagine in the cockpit?

I wonder how much more intense it would be for an A-10 pilot.

Also a great shot of the viper’s stick and showing how it doesn’t actually move. Very cool.

Its hard to believe 150 years ago we only had black powder rifles that took a full minute to reload 1 crudely formed lead ball & no aviation at all. Fast forward to this video and we see an F16 firing an M61 minigun shooting 20mm bullets at 6000 a minute. Unreal.

Awesome video, thanks for sharing! Would you be okay with me featuring this in my series Weekly Dose of Aviation? Of course you will be credited both in the video and in the description. Thanks!

Your can visually see his body moving from the vibrations of the gun. Crazy!

In my opinion the f16 cannon sounds far scarier than the a10 in a strafe, the a10 just made it famous

Such a delicate control system - very little adjustment is needed to move the thing
