Tutorial in How To Use Arduino 7 Segment Display with Visuino

In this tutorial I will show you how to use common anode 7 segment display using Arduino. I will also show you how you can use Visuino IDE from Mitov Software to easily program the display. We will compare the Visuino code with what you might right within the Arduino IDE.

The 7 segment display type is MAN71A with common Anode. This means that you will need to connect the common Anode to 5V and each segment will need to be connected to ground (or set the corresponding Arduino pin LOW)

Things you will need:
* Arduino Uno
* wires
* breadboard
* Visuino software - Join the group at google+ in order to download the software

Nice tutorial, although I would not recommend adding manual code in the Sketch after Visuino has generated it ;-). You can achieve the same by just adding a counter, and clock generator in Visuino.

I have a horrible experience with visuino. Few days ago, I installed the
software and was provided with a registration key. Subsequently, I had
to format my computer and then I decided to install the software at my
laptop. Accordingly, after installation, filled up the form to get the
registration key as without that most of the components are locked. In
the process, the visuino system sent a message check your mail. But even
after three days, no mail with registration key has been received.
Meanwhile I wrote to them. But they gave false advices. So my point is
first I have to verify the quality of software and only then I can
decide whether or not to purchase. But I think the company has not given
any cognizance to this issue and only looking for its business. To get
the reply mail, I wasted lot of time being a senior citizen which is
totally unbecoming on the part of a sensible company. Yesterday also I
sent another mail to them but no reply has been received.
