I like how you legitimately make videos well spaced out rather than spamming 1 video or multiple videos per day

I have no problem paying for music from Artist who actually put time and effort into their music

I can't not comment that the 2000's had some of the best music out there. People forget that rock and metal are music too, fans of which talk about the 2000's like the "good ole days" even now.

Hi, I agree with what you are saying. I have lived through the 60's 70's 80's 90's and 2000's as a musicians and the industry always changes. Keep your eyes open for the future of music D2C it's called AP where the artist get paid.

What you gotta realize is the music business will always be “restructuring” itself because it was built on a shaky foundation and bad business from the beginning. You just gotta try to continuously stay ahead of the curve.

I've been talkin about these topics to friends, thanks for bringing them up. BTW, Patreon is pivoting to D2C as well.

Bandcamp is most definitely not only for the starters because there are such heavyweight house music producers-dj's like David Morales, Masters At Work, Miguel Migs etc.

Thank you for baselining the situation so clearly. I am not a professional in this particular business but I am strong in business development in general and your video appears to me like a milestone statement. I got the message. Thank you very much for creating and outting this put! All the best, Martin!

This was a great video, this is a subject i have talked about with so many people over the years, i believe in the artist getting paid for their work, and don't mean penny's, its a crime the artist are getting rip off.peace bro

There is nobody out there to take care of artists so they can make music, use to get a deal, get an advance, make a album, go on tour.

The "music business" is constantly circumventing preexisting law in order to further screw the musical creators and keep the lion's share of every cent for themselves. One artist recently demonstrated he'd received a plaque for 2 BILLION plays of a song he recorded in the 70's . . . with a check for $1, 700. That's ONE THOUSAND, SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS. That's of a cent per play. As absolutely despicable as that is, companies like Spotify think they're paying too much . . . and don't take my word for it, do the research.

If a new format comes out that prevents free streaming, game over

Music is dead because nobodys willing to pay for it. End of story. Unless they change the technicalities, new format, even then i really doubt that people will buy music anymore.

You seem like you've been watching the music industry as long as I have I've been thinking about it different while I did it the same since 1989 I was turned away in the early days like crazy town butterfly like those days because my samples couldn't get cleared by the people I was working with and people just weren't ready for country hip hop Rock I just turned Inward and have watched and learned and filmed and I'm only a few months away from having internet in this little hole in the wall town I've made a home in I'll be watching you and learning thank you very much
