If you're curious how Soderbergh shot this - it's a Sony A9iii with a 14mm lens on a gimbal. He walked around the house in slippers and shot long continuous takes. Mostly natural light.

I’m calling it. We are in the perspective of the ghost, like the killer in In a Violent Nature, but there is a twist: one of the family members will be the PRESENCE by the end of the film, like The Bent-Neck Lady from The Haunting of Hill House. By the way, this aligns very much with Lucy Liu's old interview about her intimate ghost experiences.

Basically, an "entity" follows normal family, with their own rea life issues, struggles, then the "entity" gets bored and decides to have fun and it is so generous, decides to include the family too 👌

Neon doing this movie a disservice by marketing it as a super scary movie. It’s more of a family drama/thriller, a very original and well made one. I loved it, I just wasn’t scared by it.
