There is a challenge of 30 days -100 pushups 100 squats everyday which i did,
Most people make a mistake of doing the reps with just the body weight and same speed and intensity.
I made tweaks by progressively overloading using the following:
Dumbells
Resistance bands
Speed of the movement
Variations in pushups and squats ( hands and feet placement)
These minor tweaks caused me major significant change
And yes overtime your bodyweight acts as progressive overload.
