Ubisoft, the creator of the Assassin's Creed franchise, has decided to make Yasuke, the final boss in AC Shadows, gay. There's no evidence that the historical figure was gay. I withdraw my endorsement of the game.

The thing though, is that he wasn't ever even a samurai. Ubi's been working overtime to re-write the Wiki and the dang encyclopedia to literally re-write history. The Britannica article about Yasuke was changed like a week before the trailer dropped. Ain't that some crap? If a game company can make an encyclopedia change their articles... what can bigger entities do?
