This will harm more people than it will help, because you know it will lead to an international system of credit scores following everyone. I moved to a new country when i had terrible credit in my home country (due to circumstances out of my control) and was able to build a new life from scratch, which would not have been possible with the system this guy is promoting. Earth already feels like a prison planet, don't make it a reality.

The opposite actually happens more frequently where immigrants leave their poor credit scores in their home country and get to start fresh with all the knowledge in the credit history they do have. Compared to people who have had to use credit in that country at 18.

I think I might know the answer to his question. If we had a credit score that can transfer from country to country, what's to stop some countries from just giving credit to people who would otherwise not get credit over here, build up their credit score, and then use that as leverage to get credit over here? I think it opens up the floodgates to some very dangerous things

It's called those credit scores are based off different financial systems and laws. Credit scores are not universal

I really relate to this, and it’s a situation that happens all across America, not just in the US. As a Honduran, I had the privilege of studying finance abroad. I built a good credit score in the US and, after my Optional Practical Training (OPT) was over, I returned to Honduras and started building a new credit score there. Three years later, I moved to Mexico for my MBA and am in the process of building another credit score yet again.. I would love to know more about this project/product
