This lecture was given at the National Science Foundation on April 18, 2022. It was part of their Earth Day Celebration.

It discusses some strategies for students (and others) to take "control" over some of the issues of climate change. It is based on the approaches to problem solving that I teach at the University of Michigan.

It specifically addresses the hopelessness many feel when we say that we have until 2030 to solve the problem of face catastrophe. That is really not a very useful message.

We need knowledgeable climate champions in all professions to lead the transformation to living in our rapidly changing climate. I hope that this video helps some to find their place in climate change solutions in their lives and professions.
