Probably the most underrated Metallica song. It could have been as big as Fade to Black or Unforgiven but its only sin was appearing in the "sellout" album. I really wish they would include the electric version again in the Hardwired tour.

One of my favourite Metallica songs but they rarely play it live

I don't remember the last time Metallica played Hero Of The Day! Last time Kirk played it during his solo at the Night before the Super Bowl but the last time I've heard them play it was S&M I don't know if they played it after that tho :)
