5 % should be kept for fun that can be used for vacations, travel, clubbing ect. i have a mentally ill sister and been saving 60% of my salary so that i can take care of her expenses in future when my parents are not there

I think Dave was really excited for me considering the situation I was in earlier this year. I'm like the rest of you, I'm saving too.

BECAUSE I LIKE TO SPEND AND THIS ALLLL IN IS A CHANGE OF MIND/ATTITUDE/NEW HABIT. I PUT 30 BUCKS IN MY WALLET IN CASH AND THE DAY I'M ITCHING TO SPEND. I HEAD OUT TO THE DOLLAR STORE AND I KNOW I CAN BUY 28 ITEMS. THIS KILLS THE SPENDING BUG AND THEN I'M BACK ""WITH OUT "" THE GUILT :o)

Budgets only work for single people living by themselves. I have a family of 5 so I just use a credit card and pay it off whenever payday comes put the rest in savings.
