The match up is favored in trundle for sure, but that sion misplayed heavily. Pretty much allowed himself to get into trundle auto chain. Something i do in this match up to make it simpler for me is to go bami cinder on my first back and keeping wave close to my tower so he has no opening ls to engage. Trundle has a lot of engage and pressure on you but he has zero disengage.

if u want to make something against trundle with Sion you can build full ad with phase rush for the movespeed and slow reduction, its possible to kite trundle while holding your ult for when he uses the pillar or use it at close range so it can not be canceled, your passive and Q are very good too because he dont have a dash.
In the case that your team need u to make the front line against tank counters like trundle, gwen, vayne... A shield build buying Gargoyle Stoneplate, Sterak and Winter's Approach, since that can help u tank longer.
