"open will turn on the gas, and off will turn the gas off"

That one line convinced me she's a pro

“They actually grilled a whole lettuce.”

Best way to turn off the grill is to leave the knobs on with the flame still on and turn off the propane tank first. That way you don't leave any extra propane gas trapped in the lines.

People grill lettuce? Wow. Since Ramsay bashed a restaurant about it, I figured it was a bad thing 😂

This is so clear, concise, and useful for someone like me—nearly 40, married 16 years, and never bought a grill because I don’t know anything about how to use it. Thank you!

Another tip for grill maintenance is that for propane grills like the one used in the video. It is actually possible to put a layer of tin foil at the very bottom bellow the flames. That makes cleaning easier but some residue can still spill into the cleaning pans.

I already know how to grill pretty well, but I still ended up watching the whole thing. I already knew pretty much all of this stuff, but I feel like this would be extremely helpful to a beginner because most of the time people don’t talk about the basic simple stuff like remembering to clean out the grease trap or even which way to twist the propane tank knob.

That was cool to grill lemon. I never thought about doing that. I'll have to try it next time I grill.

I just watched an entire video about grilling tips eventhough I don't own a grill or I'm ever going to.

This was very enjoyable to watch as a newbie to grilling. I'm actually using charcoal in my little tabletop grill, but I still found the information very helpful. Some of the venomous comments here are pretty shocking, but as I learned in my own little grilling quest, it's not exactly rocket science, might explain the rage about a simple video with grilling tips.

We've been lied to, ladies. Other than smelling smoky, which I don't enjoy, it's easy and fun. A chimp could probably do it if given enough time and practice.

I started out with some some Italian sausages. Something simple that wouldn't cost a lot to screw up. Guess what? I put em over some hot coals, AND THEY COOKED! They were delicious and I was so proud of myself! I'm gonna throw some steaks on tomorrow and maybe even some salmon! And, my Beyond burgers are going to be PHENOMENAL flame-broiled! Best investment ever! I debated about whether to get the Oklahoma Joe's Rambler ($199) or the Royal Gourmet tabletop that costs about $100. I'd already bought the RG cart from Amazon and I liked it, so I figured I'd try the grill too. It's the perfect little starter grill!

If you're tired of waiting for holidays and special events for bbq, get yourself a grill and get to grilling! You will love it!
