1) Vodka was invented by a Russian scientist in Poland when Poland was part of Russia.

In Russia, smiling is not a sign of weakness. It's just that most people don't smile. And they might also think that you breathed something not good and you are so cheerful because of this. More often people smile if there is a reason for it. And if you just smile like that, then someone might think that you are a fool. I speak as a person who lives in Russia

That one guy who saved the world from ww3 is no exaggeration. When cuba became Communist the U.S.S.R gave them nuclear warheads, the us started a blockade. A USSR submarine was found so a US ship released some depth charges so it would surface. *I think* the sub believed war broke out and decided to launch it's nuclear payload, but all three commanders of the ship had to agree, he was the only one who didn't.
