This was very well done. Ignore any of the negative comments. People need a basic radio education to even be able to use this radio, much less program it. They should be grateful that you even made the effort to create this video. Thumbs up!

Appreciate the info! Looked at manual and was surprised to find nothing on how to program. You make it easy.

AWESOME! I just picked up this exact radio. It was driving me nuts trying to figure out how to save channels. Thank you!

This is a really helpful video. I was trying to program a channel into my UV-S9PLUS for a few days unsuccessfully. Unfortunately, all my 21 memory channels came preprogrammed and no other video on YouTube mentioned that they have to be deleted before being re-programming fro a new frequency. Great job indeed.

Thanks for the vid.
FYI: "transmit" vs "receiving" memory means you're saving one frequency to listen and, if necessary, a different frequency to talk, both on the same channel. It's how repeaters work. If you don't know what a repeater is you probably shouldn't be using this radio (or retake the Ham test).
It's also why there are 2 lines on the screen.

Thanks for the video. I knew how to program, but I wasn't sure how to recall those saved configs. Now I know to just go to channel mode and scroll to the appropriate channel. Appreciate it.

Programming channels you would have to assume are for people whom just got one of theses radios. Start off using a phone that doesn't have anything programmed into it already. It was going fine until you got into that you already had channels programmed and so then you have to find a open space yada, yada, yada. Simplify how to program a blank radio first then go on to the other subjects you wanted to cover, it will make it much easier to follow right off the bat. I do appreciate that you took the time to do this. Thanks
