This is just gorgeous. His words on skateboarding and how it molded him as a young kid and taught him so many life lessons throughout his adolescence is so beautifully said. This is beyond inspiring. It’s so crazy how my love for skateboarding hasn’t ever dwindled even a little bit, I’m 32 years old and after 20+ years on a board, I still find myself skating 2-3 days a week with my ridiculously busy schedule. It’s a necessity and blessing for me daily. The day will come when I’ll be too old to throw myself down a gap or stairs, but I’ll be damned if I won’t be bombing hills or thrashing bowls till I’m 60-70. Lord willing. The feeling you get when you land something on a skateboard for the first time or do something nuts and all your boys / spectators do the Its one of the best feelings ever and those memories can last a lifetime. Its probably hard for a person who has never skated to appreciate the feeling. Skating is different.
