I particularly liked your idea of offering multiple levels of commitment...if it is followed by an opportunity to 'do' something with that investment...like participate in a discussion, or explain, in your own words, what you have read.

However, I think you can do better with your picture of the mis-aligned critical thinker, can't you?

I don't know...I kind of started drifting off. I usually do that when someone speaks too long about something. I need animations to hold my attention since I am a visual/auditory/ kinesthetic learner.
