Agreed that 'World Tour' mode is too easy, but it's obviously designed for newbies who just like to have some fun and sample a little bit of everything. To get a feel for a real challenge from the AI drivers' capability, you have to skip 'World Tour' and go directly to 'Event Select'. From there you'll be able to select the AI's driver level.... Set it on 'professional' and let me know if you can still beat the drivers so easily :)

Be aware that you can only change the time of day settings on the 5 newly included tracks, with 2 settings each.

It took me a while to get here because i was waiting on the title update to fix one of the major issues I was going to cover. But this is my response to your review of the title. i'm just one guy with an xbox and a pc, not a "studio". Just doing the best with i've got. Always enjoy all your content. A.I. Is tough if you go in to the event list and put them on expert! The world tour mode has dynamic A.I. Which is a too easy they take a long time to adjust to your level.

yes! love forza, even though I started of on titles like Richard Burns, RFactor, LiveForSpeed, and RaceOn. Also, where did you guys get Jennifer from? Can she drive?

@yurgrandma One critical aspect regarding tires that is missing from GT5 compared to FM4 is tire pressure. Tire pressure is VERY important yet in GT5 you can't set it and don't really know what it is.

Did you guys ever do the shoot out of Forza 4 vs. GT5? Would love to hear more about the physics of the 2 titles compared. GT5 (on latest 2.09 patch) still has some fairly major issues in physics which keeps the tuning from working properly. Cars don't seem to change balance much, front to rear when changing throttle position (unless you get wheel spin).
Things like this are really frustrating for those of us who are used to real cars. Would love to know if Forza 4 is better in that area.

As you say, the AI in the career mode isn't the best, but when you play at event list, in difficultty at proffesional level and you leave your opponents stock, I usually find it challenging. Compared to Gran Turismo AI, this one is years ahead. I think it would have been worth mention the autocross and the 1 vs 1 with traffic features, I think both adittions were great to the game and went out of the ordinary. And the 900 degree patch, wow, it made it a totally different game.

For anyone new to Forza 4 and need help with tuning make sure you search" Forza 4 tuning Guide" where you will find two videos created by me on the subject. Make sure you watch the Advanced version to get a better understanding on how to tune. Thumb up so people will see :)

Hey where's the GT5 vs F4 face off? Pretty satisfying review really, I don't agree on all points, but the fact that in the end it scored almost identically with GT5 shows that their pros and cons balance out pretty well (depending on what you want out of a racing game adds and subtracts a bit).

Let's not forget the Porsche DLC. Such a great game, and yes, if they improve the physics, type game would have to be played with a wheel only.

@usernamefromhell it's no about wanting to crash. But if it happens, you know the result, and so do I. But it's not only the damage stuff. If you drive, you know that brakes can fail, gearboxes break, tires have punctures, etc. You know what I mean...
