This is just a superb stereo remix of the ultimate Beatles rock ‘n’ roll recording. John Lennon was at first a bit ashamed of his vocal as he thought he could sing better and a second take was attempted but his voice was too hoarse. Think he began to realise afterwards that it was perhaps a great raw performance; works for me anyway. Remember being disappointed that it wasn’t issued as a single (allowing BP and the Tremeloes to get a number one hit which was OK but not in this league) but saved up a bit more to buy the EP which was stonkin’. For me you have excelled yourself on this Pat. Much appreciated.

🎧 👍 It doesn't get much better than that in the headphones. John in the middle with the other harmonies lightly peppered on the sides. A wonderful but subtle deep bass inserted in all the right places. I can see George's and Paul's heads wiggling back and forth as they sing, "Oooohh". Near the end, during, shake it, shake it, shake it baby, I can see Ringo's mop flipping up and down. Perfection, Pat; I think you are at the top of your learning curve. All I can say is, keep 'em
I see, A Taste Of Honey in the label of the EP which I also love. When they go into the part, "When we return...", it is just magic.
