I just signed up for my first marathon because of this dude. His content is the best ive seen. Inspired me to document my own journey. I played football 10 years ago and been slacking since. He re-lit that fire in me.

This is probably one of the best perspectives and advice for day of supplement rotation. If you are running half or full marathons, please do yourself a favor and start preparing very early on anything you’re taking throughout the race. I ran one of my first marathons several years ago and I can tell you Immediately after taking a new substance I believe it was some type of gel pack. It turned my stomach and destroyed my race to the point where I was one of the last people to cross the finish line. It hurt. so please be mindful of what you take from the buffet of supplements at the race. Just my two cents enjoy and have fun.🎉

Nick, you are right. Train to compete to win. Be prepared, and run like you are training, and at the finish you can see your hard work training was worth it. In feeling good for having a good time and that still standing tall in the top 5 positions in your caregory. Plus, know your supplements and drinks for energy and endurance, stay focus and concentrate and have aelf confidence. Good advice Nick!!!❤️

Great advice Nick! I’m trying to get back into ultra training after a few years away from the sport. In 2018 I did a 50 mile roll run and also completed the Vermont ultra beast spartan race in the same year. I’m not in as good of shape now but working to get there and absolutely love your videos. You do a great job! By the way I was stationed at fort hood as well as an infantry officer I think I got out maybe not long after you had arrived potentially. I left army in 2016

"train how you fight"

this is a concept that can be found anywhere. we used to say this constantly in the marines. oh, you're training to go run a mile and a half to set up an OP? cool. don't train slick. train with whatever weight you'll be carrying. otherwise, it's almost pointless.

same thing here.
