All soda should use actual sugar. No high fructose corn syrup at all.

If high fructose corn syrup gets the least bit warm, it tastes awful! The real sugar version does not suffer from this. Dollar General carries the Mexicokes with real sugar.

I found that the real suger soft drinks are more filling and less addictive. The high fructose soft drinks can be consumed in large volumes without feeling full. You also will crave more and more even if you just finished a bottle. Just my .02, your change may differ.

Here in Australia we use cane sugar in our Coca-Cola if you’re ever in Australia and you buy a bottle or a can of Coke take a look at the list of ingredients and you’ll see that one of the ingredients is cane sugar

corn syrup is goitrogenic meaning it slows down the thyroid. meaning the tons of sugar you just ingested will sit on your body

HFCS is being linked to higher rates of diabetes, low T, fatty liver and serous of the liver. In normal sugar and regular corn syrup there is an a Carb and Fructose extra Fructose and that is what we registers as sweet. HFCS there is has 4 or more extra to a carb which is harder on the liver and cause the similar damage to Alcohol. This is why they keep an eye on liver health in Diabetics and and it is so much harder then it used to be for men not to have the Beer Belly

They should be more specific in what kind of sugar they are using. Not telling the type of sugar is dodgy. Cane sugar seem to taste the best

FYI Nguyen is pronounced similar to "Win".

The HFCS Coke is what you're used to and all you've had so naturally the REAL Coke will be different to you.

I grew up here in NZ and having tasted HFCS (some corner stores will sell imported US cans due to lower cost) I could tell the difference blind easily as well and I'm definitely the other way. This is mostly because HFCS coke has an aftertaste and after drinking a whole can you can still taste this funny taste not present in our locally bottled product.

I think what we think here is going to be heavily influenced by what we are used to.

Did you know coke changed to HFCS right after New Coke happened? The "Coke Classic" wasn't the same, as the name claims.

Coke cola Corporate had Mexico coke plant to use the High Fructose Corn Syrup starting in 2015. They are both the same.

Funny you say the Sugar Coke had a Pepsi vibe to it. In the mid 1980s Pepsi was winning the soda challenge so Coke revamped its recipe and renamed it New Coke, which was to compete with Pepsi, but the people revolted and hated New Coke, so they said they returned to the original formula calling it Coca-Cola Classic, but that's about the time it switched to HFCS, so technically it wasn't the original formula. Most countries have banned HFCS for being unhealthy and only use pure cane sugar to sweeten and it shows, because most other countries don't have near the amount of fat people the USA does. Not just coke, because when the low-fat craze started, they replaced fat with variations of HFCS, because removing the fat made food taste awful and the only way to make it taste good was to replace fat with HFCS or sugar. A slice of bread in the USA on average has 7 grams of added sugar while in the EU only has 1 gram of added sugar on average.

Need to compare both with same sized plastic bottles. Nguyen is a Vietnamese name I thought?
