i have a theory as to why danny's future self is full on evil when in the past his ghost half was not such
i belive it had to do with the state of mind and what brought them there
remember that episode where danny used that dream catcher ghost contraption to seperate his human and ghost half? both where in pleasent states; the ONLY reason they seperated was because danny wanted to be able to be a hero and spend time with his freinds; thus the seperation
the human half was chill, relaxed and all about having fun, perhaps a little too much into the laid back and having fun aspect
his ghost half was the hero steroetype; all about the heroics - full on hero mode there

yet his future ghost half is evil, why?
his state of mind

up unitl that point the ghost half was never really seen as a curse, he was able to do things no one else could and he chose to be a good guy because of it
and then, the event; upcomming test which has his human half NERVOUS as all hell
a ghost fight later and danny finds out he now has the tests answers, he can cheat
there is some back and fourth but ultimetly he decides that, why not, he risks his life to keep the peace, why CANT he do this ONE tiny little bad thing?
that bad thing ends up having his freinds and family at the burger place right when it explodes

danny is in complete greif and now....now he's not in the right state of mind
he might be blaming himself, more importantly, he might blame his GHOST self for what happened - and this blame from the human half coupled with the greif of losing his freinds and family drive a wedge between the two, which results in danny asking to be seperated from his ghost half

"if i didnt have my stupid ghost half i wouldnt have gotten those stupid answers and i woudnt have cheated, this is all because of my ghost half"

where as the ghost half is the one that was always fighting to keep the peace
"I did all the figting, ME, I RISKED myself OVER and OVER to keep us and our loved ones safe, its YOUR FAULT they died, YOU CHEATED, you CHOSE TO!"

and then the seperation
ghost danny at this point must have decided that
"FINE, if you dont want me, then i DONT NEED YOU EITHER! i'll become MY OWN PERSON"

so in his greif and rage, he seeks out another ghost half with more power to make himself feel complete - this comes with some of the evil vlad had to offer
and i it kinda shows when he screaming during his transformation: everything that made him who he is is now being twisted

that begruding respect vlad had for danny? now the two ghost halfs are together, that begrudging respect for them as a whole has probably changed from a type of respect for the person, to ONLY respect for the ghost

and that begrudging part? the part that comes from the HATE vlad must have had for danny? well now thats not being twisted - its being amplified
the ghost halves hated for danny from BOTH sides
danny's side for the hatred he had for his human half cheating and getting his family and freinds killed
and vlads half who hated danny as an oponent and an obstable

now that he's a new being, he turns to his human half and shows him the same consideration he felt the human half showed him - none
"you used me, got the people i cared about killed and then tossed me aside - now i return the favour. phenton"

and at this point even the affection he had for this loved ones must have been warped; if my OWN human half did this to me, why would i want to assosiote with the other weak humans?
remember vlads in there; he HATED danny's father jack, and matty CONSTANTLY rejected his affection and advances and the human boy danny? he was ALWAYS in the WAY, him and his little freinds, and that fat man how he HATED his old freind for what he did to him


so why assosiate with the humans? they bring pain and mysery, why not have fun and return the favour
as for why he was hostile to the ghosts; again, pre-existing hate being warped
he ALWAYS had to fight the ghosts to preserve his happy life, and it was a ghost fight that brought these events to pass, why NOT get a little well deserved payback
