Fallout 3 - Creepy Dunwich Moment

Still legitimately creepy after all these years. I really love how Bethesda included so much Lovecraftian lore into this game series.

I love how the dunwich company is basically haunted and they built up on it in fallout 4 too

That same door shut in front of me, then items on a computer desk shot off into the floor. With what building it was, I assumed it was not merely a "Bethesda Moment"

Holy shit, I hated the Dunwich Building so much my heart can't handle all the scares

I was so scared off this building the first time I walked through that I refused to go beyond the first series of doors and placed 127 mines down around the front door. That way if I saw a mushroom cloud/explosion from dunwhich that gave me a vague idea of many seconds I had to run before some umbra horror killed me.

I noticed this on my first playthrough in the beforetimes (2008) and I legit thought it was a glitch 🤣

I am literally there for the first time ever and just killed Jaime. One door opened 3 steps away from me, but not sure if it was Dogmeat's fault though.

I tried using stealth tactics (while using the Chinese Stealth Suit and with no companion not even Dogmeat) not knowing what this building was, and when this very same door closed by itself infront of me I noped out and returned with my Winterized Power Armor and Vengeance equipped accompanied by Star Paladin Cross 😂
