Rare Earth metal has no significant use in Ev Batteries, infact it is an indiispensable part of ev motors permanent magnet

there are some rare earth are very tough to get. you may need to make 1000 tons of aluminum to get 1kg. So no other country could manage that except china, with low cost of electricity and high amout of aluminum consumption.
