Honestly I love how it’s obvious Tyler is a little nervous and shy when he’s dancing at his own birthday party, but it’s the girls around him encouraging him to dance that gives him confidence. It’s just so cute!

Crazy how you rewatch his scenes and notice he doesn't hang out with anybody. He had to invite Mei mei just for people to come. I didn't even realize he said it himself, "If you're there everyone will come"

tyler was probably one of the most accurate things in the movie (even tho everything was pretty accurate). I knew a lot of kids in middle school who were mean just bc they didn’t have any friends. Hopefully they all got the ending tyler gets in this movie

I just realized something. I like that they didn't go the typical route of a mean girl clique rivaling her and her group of friends. Instead she's bullied by a boy and it looks like that only lasts like a portion of the film.

People commenting that Tyler is “Gay” is the main problem he was facing. The main reason he didn’t admit that he likes 4-town is because people would instantly think that he’s girly or in some instances, gay. The people in the comments are literally re-enforcing that stereotype.

Once I saw Tyler at the concert he immediately became my one of my fav characters.
