Now would be a good time to enter the market, especially if you are looking long term. The index is at 5900+ at this time, but a year ago it was pushing 8000. There is a lot of room for growth. You can also invest in a stock heavy mutual fund or UITF so you can get more of the index stocks at one price.

Foreigners cannot invest in land here in Philippines. But they can invest in condos. Foreign ownershp in a condo building should not exceed a certain percentage ( i just forgot the percentage)
