If this storyline is true I would recommend she spend the two coldest months of winter with her family (he can come visit the last two weeks) and one other time during the year so she won’t feel so isolated from her family.

I don't like her hateful angry sister, she is the reason of whole drama, she is envy and wants her sister near herself at all cost or SHE WANTS to move to the USA. I think the couple both are good people, i think Tata is pressured by her family by guilt tripping so she does the same to her husband, he is not innocent too but he is not a bad person . i see the evil sister and probably the Tatas parents are the real issue, Tata is just codependent, probably they thought James would be a cash cow for all the family and he is not so they want get rid of him and make Tata to find another man.
