i work in the industry. Insurance companies only face lawsuits when they dont do the right thing. Now they just passed a bill basically saying you cant sue them. So you will have ZERO recourse when they screw you over which they usually do. Especially all the Ian claims. Good ol Desantis just let them off the hook.

This bill was written by and for the Insurance Industry. It reduces consumer protection and does nothing in the short term to reduce outrageous hikes in premiums. In the long term the problem will get worse until a Florida Governor and a Legislators are elected who believe in consumer protection and regulation
