I think most people would assume the winning chance more than the 'probability' of winning itself. That's why it's debated. People tend to ignore the probability of losing; it means you still would lose if you switching but the probability of losing is lesser than the probability of winning. Yes; you should switch, just because the probability of winning is higher. Ignoring every little ick whether psychological factor or etc, will make you worry less. Because the 'probability' of winning is higher.

I get his method of thinking, however, if you look at it from the point of view that there is 1/10 chance of it being behind each door, then by removing 8, would the problem not be a choice of 2 doors with a 1/2 chance?

The video does not mention anything of the host's knowledge of where the car is and that he must reveal a goat. Because of that is does not teach anyone anything about the MHP at all. One can say it's 50/50 in this video and be correct as well.
