Maybe try something different? Something else that was already on the table: Corals. Specifically soft corals, like a Torch Coral can also make terrific homes for the Clown fish. Far easier to keep than an anemone. The soft corals don't require as intense light as the stony's found closer to the surface in the oceans. Some really attractive softy's out there. Jakarta Xenia, grass polyps, you could have a very nice reef-tank setup in that aquarium.

The anemone needs to be at least 10 times the size of the clownfish. Any species with long flowing tentacles

It's actually quite simple, , All those Anemones are way too small.

You need a stronger light. And make sure your parameters are spot on. Anemones do not like newer tanks. And it's hard for the clownfish to host a closed up anemone.

The reason why clowns from them bonds is for safety what treats are there there's no need for them to do so with some time and more tank mates they will eventually bond with them

Definitely no expert (i don't even have a tank anymore 😰) but i always thought the anenomes needed 2 b bigger than the fish 4 pairing. Be careful putting 2 much stress on them trying 2 push em 2 pair ❤

You simply need a Condylactis gigantea. The long tentacles make is easy to pair with clown fish.

So one of two things is that you can make a cheap rig and rig the vacuum pump even closer to the anemone and give it very little to move out of or put the clownfish and anemone pair into a separate tank so they pair that way. From what I’ve seen to is that a pair of clownfish is max for a single anemone tho

I have clownfish for 4 years. I got my anemone 2 years ago. It’s split once so now I have two very big anemones and my clowns have never even looked at them. They prefer my Duncan coral instead.
