Shaq used to do this too sometimes. It’s a shame the culture of how to play basketball at the time limited great players from doing things like this early on in the game like stopping big guys with a good jumper stand out and open the paint more for guards/wings or letting shooters have the green light on 3’s instead of having to shoot from inside mostly but it’s just how things go and the game right now is still amazing as it evolves

To be honest..after watching young Kareem/ Lew Alcindor there is no doubt he could've done it as well. If Kareem was drafted in 2003 with more modern skill sets OMG!
