Applying style formatting to the text within your Microsoft Word document helps to make your document look nice, ensures your headings/text are consistent throughout your document and allows you to make use of features such as automatic tables of contents, bookmarking and cross-referencing.

In this short tutorial, you'll learn about Microsoft Word styles, how to apply them to text, modify them, and create your very own styles. You'll also learn how to change the design theme for your Word document.

Although this tutorial was captured on Word for Mac, the same techniques and principles can be applied by those of you using Microsoft Word on a Windows computer, so it's definitely worth still watching and following along with this tutorial.

Hi. I like your tutorial style: simple, clear, to the point.

Are you planning anything about how to create a custom word template with specific styles for that template? I've got Powerpoint Templates down to a T, and I'm now heading on to Word deep-customisation, but last time I tried it (ten years ago), I got a ton of irregularities that led to way more trouble than it was worth and I was hoping for some tips to avoid a repeat.
