I'm a big Mark fan and look forward to these reviews (2023 onwards) but something has REALLY changed here. Now we're selling cars, not reviewing them, nothing is bad, and where once '[VW] took half a step back in user friendliness' is now 'best user interfaces in any car IMO'. I can't help but think there's a new editorial pressure to deliver direct benefit to Vanarama rather than promoting the brand through more genuine & entertaining opinion. I hope I'm wrong but at this rate I might as well just watch the car ads.

The DS 9 (no, not _that_ DS9) is basically a slightly stretched 508... which was one of the cars originally compared to the Arteon, and is also offered in fastback/shooting brake styles.

At last VW have made a decent new car, by the looks of it. They desperately needed to do something, regarding styling and build quality. I am still not impressed with the interior. It looks very bland.
